Goat Podcast is hosted by Shaquille O’Neal and brings together major figures from the sports world for exclusive conversations. For an episode featuring Canelo Álvarez, Terence Crawford, Tom Brady, and Dana White, I produced the opening video, animating and adapting the key visual created by BigTime Creative Shop. The piece follows the show’s visual identity, inspired by the energy of NY, where the podcast is filmed, atop the Empire State Building.
Goat Podcast is a production by The Ring Magazine that brings together major figures from the sports world for exclusive interviews. In this episode, Shaquille O’Neal sat down with Canelo Álvarez and Terence Crawford, joined by Tom Brady and Dana White, a conversation that took place just before one of the most anticipated boxing matches in recent years.
My role was to create the episode’s opening sequence, developing all the animation, editing, and transitions. I worked from the key visual designed by Bruno Freitas, who developed the visual identity through BigTime Creative Shop.
I made adjustments to keep the composition consistent and give the piece a stronger sense of rhythm. The project’s aesthetic was inspired by New York City itself, where the podcast is filmed atop the Empire State Building: bold typography, dense composition, and a fast-paced rhythm echo the movement, intensity, and urban energy that define the city’s streets.
